Joe’s Five Styling Tips
- Pre-styler – the pre-styler determines the final result of your hair style. For example, hair cream for silky smooth, mousse for dry and volume, and wax for volume without as much dryness. Joe demonstrates with mousse.
- Blow drying – decide which way you want to blow dry and stick with it. Opposite direction is maximum volume, the way your hair grows is smoother and natural looking, and both left and right is natural volume but ending the natural direction it grows. Joe blow drys left and right. Dry until no moisture remains.
- Finishing product – matte, shine, natural, and more are options which achieve a different looks. Joe uses P&P Paste.
- Application process – Joe demonstrates and emphasizes roots to tips so that the product covers your entire head of hair. If it’s just on the top, you don’t give hold to your roots.
- Transitioning to new hair style – when you hit that awkward stage, Joe demonstrates how to trim and touch-up.
