Over the past four years, I have killed the Alpha M. YouTube channel by not focusing on creating better content. I’ve been doing the same stuff since I started, which isn’t where it’s at. I’ve done many other things during this time, such as creating other businesses, but I should have spent more time, money, and energy figuring out and improving my content.
I plan to try to fix it, which isn’t going to be fast, but I’m not going anywhere. I love making content as much as I did when I started, but I lost the ability to think outside the box. I have a plan, but I don’t know if it will work. But I have to try something different because what I’ve been doing isn’t working.
How I killed the Alpha M. YouTube channel
About four years ago, the world shut down, and people’s viewing habits changed. What they were interested in hearing and learning about changed, and the issue is that I didn’t. I stayed in my box and bubble. I kept talking about the same subjects and doing the same videos. I didn’t grow, and this is fundamental.
I also didn’t invest my time, energy, and resources to figure out what the next chapter of my life on the internet would look like. I also didn’t assess what other people were interested in. I meet many people who say they used to watch my content, but they don’t say that they’re watching it currently. I directed them over to my Alpha Mpire channel, but once again, I tried another channel instead of investing in the Alpha M. channel.
The Alpha Mpire is not a mistake because there is a place for my entrepreneurial skill set and making money experiences, but it’s completely different than the five pillars that I focus on the Alpha M. channel: style, grooming, fitness, relationships, and lifestyle.
What I need to do
I still love making videos daily. I’m excited about creating content but not about doing the same thing and expecting different results. I need to stop micromanaging and get out of the way so people can help me. Micromanaging stifles growth and success. I can’t do this by myself anymore. I’ve tried, but I just can’t. I must be smart enough to realize it’s time to ask for help.
So this is step one. Despite everything I know about business and how to grow and build a team, I’m embarrassed and ashamed that I didn’t do this sooner. I know this process will not be fast or overnight, and I’m in it for the long term. I want to make videos in the next 5 to 10 years, helping guys feel better and look better. This is why I started in the first place.
There’s nothing more important in my life than you and this channel. Thank you for everything, and hopefully, we can get things figured out sooner rather than later.

So here’s my plan: I want to hire five of you, perhaps more and perhaps less, to build a creative team to start the process of revamping, retooling, and figuring Alpha M. out again. It’s a paid position that requires an audition:
- Email me at workwithalpham@gmail.com with five video topics, titles, ideas, and/or strategies. I’m not trying to dictate what I want to see or what you should bring to the table. I want to see what sparks my interest and makes me want to watch. I’ll decide whether it’s engaging, interesting, or something special.
- I also need help with thumbnail ideation. I don’t need somebody to do the thumbnails; I need creative ideas for the thumbnails and for the videos—clickable, engaging, and exciting thumbnails.
- If you think you can be a strategist or someone I can collaborate with to create incredible badass videos, I want to hear from you.
- You don’t need to be a video editor because I can hire for that.
- I also don’t need a brand manager because every business I have built is a family.
