Alpha M. Style System
One of Alpha’s proudest accomplishments was getting on Shark Tank. It’s crazy competitive to get on it, and it’s the Super Bowl of publicity and promotion (the equivalent of an 8 million dollar advertising buy). Alpha describes how the show runs and the effect on the business featured.
In this video men’s style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro tells you about what happened after his Shark Tank segment aired. Alpha did not get a deal, so he also is going to discuss the effect on a company, Bombas, who did get a deal.
Bombas Got a Deal | Shark Tank Story
Alpha featured a video about Bombas after their Shark Tank appearance and since then, Alpha has become friends with the owner, David. He asked David to share his post-Shark Tank experience. Bombas looked for closing a deal, and they did. At first it’s a hand-shake agreement, then due process happened thereafter.
Their sales prior to Shark Tank were $600K in the first 9 months of their business. The night the Shark Tank aired, they did $120K in sales in the first 24 hours. By the end of the 1st week, they did over $200K in sales! Traffic to the website during the 1st airing created 100K unique visitors. In less than a year. total sales after Shark Tank have been $4.5+ million, and they’ve donated over 450,000 pairs of socks to those in need. Bombas is a Shark Tank success story! David says to stay focused!
Alpha M. Did Not Get a Deal | Shark Tank Story
Prior to the Shark Tank episode, Alpha M.’s Style System sales were $3K. The night Shark Tank aired for Alpha M., 1 Style System was sold. Alpha was frustrated! He also said that they cut a lot of good stuff out of his pitch. He talked about Alpha M. and IAmAlphaM, and it was edited and cut. Only the Style System was discussed, nothing about the websites. The website traffic didn’t happen because viewers weren’t aware to type in “Alpha M.”. He felt like he got hit by a bus. The show was a complete let down with sales and traffic; however, Pete & Pedro was born from the rejection on Shark Tank.
